For Uffe Iwersen, life in the German minority in Denmark is not a label, but an experience. Having grown up in Bylderup-Bov, he now works at Haus Nordschleswig – at the heart of cultural work, as a cultural consultant for the umbrella organisation of the German minority – the Bund Deutscher Nordschleswiger (BDN).
