2. collection and storage of personal data and type and purpose of use
a) When visiting the website
When you visit our website, information is automatically sent to our server by the browser on your end device and stored in log files (e.g. IP address, date/time, file accessed, browser type, operating system, referrer URL).
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to ensure the functionality and security of the website.
b) When making contact
If you contact us by e-mail or via a form, we process your details (name, e-mail address, message) to process your request (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and b GDPR).
c) When submitting an entry via the upload tool
When you upload content (text, images, audio, video) via our submission/upload tool, we process:
- Your contact details (name, e-mail address, telephone number if applicable)
- the content you have uploaded
- any personal data of third parties (only if the relevant consent has been obtained)
- if applicable, special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR), e.g. information on ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, if you provide this information voluntarily
Purpose of the processing:
- Organization, implementation and public presentation of the digital exhibition „Who We Are“ on https://who-we-are.org
- Partial analog reproduction (e.g. exhibition boards, posters, QR codes, printed materials)
- Project documentation
Legal basis:
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent)
- Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR (consent to the processing of special data)
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (participation contract)
Consent is actively given via a confirmation checkbox in the upload tool, the content, time and IP address of which are stored in order to be able to prove consent (Art. 7 GDPR).
3. disclosure of data
Your personal data will only be passed on to authorized MKN employees.
Contributions that are published are publicly accessible on the Internet and, if applicable, also in analog formats. Further use by third parties cannot be ruled out.
4. storage duration
Personal data is stored for the duration of the project and for a maximum of 5 years after the end of the project unless you withdraw your consent beforehand.
5. cookies and analysis tools
If we use cookies or analysis tools, this is only done with your express consent via a cookie banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Details can be found there.
6. your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), objection (Art. 21 GDPR) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
