Iwo comes from the Pomeranian region, but does not belong to the Kashubian minority ethnically. Nevertheless, he felt it was essential to get involved, as it is „his region“ and his friends who define this culture. During the pandemic, he learned the language and subsequently represented Kashubian interests in the youth council of his voivodeship. Today, he is active in the student club „Pomerania“ and creates Kashubian internet content, as he firmly believes that minority languages must be present in the digital space. His story proves that even as an ally, you can make reality a little better for a minority every day.
