Filip is an Obersorbe, but grew up in the city of Bautzen rather than in the village. In the video, he talks about his „visitor's view“ of old traditions and his exciting family history between conservative rural life and intellectual heritage. He explains how this mixture helps him today not only to live the Sorbian community with pride, but also to reflect on it critically from a modern, European perspective.
